About me

I help founders and senior leaders make clear decisions in messy moments.

The thread running through every pivot I’ve made is simple: contentment through alignment (with my values).

Shifts that shaped me

I didn’t just change jobs; I changed identities.

From corporate finance and IT services to investment banking; from banker to personal trainer; from co‑founder scaling a national brand to executive coach.

Each shift forced me to rebuild who I was, without losing what mattered.

The story

I grew up in South India and started young in my dad’s business.

After an MBA in Finance, I chased the version of success I’d been handed: overnight shifts, banking badges, and the reassuring nods of “you’ve made it”.

Along the way I met Emilie - colleague → partner → wife → co‑founder—and in 2009 we moved to the UK with a suitcase and a £400 shared room in West Ham, London

In 2014–2015 I stepped off the safe path. I left banking with no Plan B because I didn’t want to keep running the corporate treadmill or work without alignment.

I qualified as a personal trainer and ran bootcamps to help people build strength from the inside out. It was my first true entrepreneurial lesson: busyness isn’t the same as momentum.

In 2016, after a trip to Portugal, Emilie and I started Oddbox at our kitchen table to fight food waste. In 2020 we adopted our daughter and my priorities sharpened again.

We scaled Oddbox fast:

  • ~£30m Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in six years
  • 50,000 customers nationwide
  • 100 teammates
  • £25m Series B and B Corp certification

From the outside it looked like success.

It also came at a price: burnout. In 2024 I stepped back to a Non‑Executive Director role. Hardest decision: leaving the identity I’d built.

Easiest decision: choosing alignment over accolades.

Why I coach

Because I’ve lived the question every ambitious leader eventually meets:

Who am I when the role, the title, or the next round can’t answer it for me?

On paper I looked successful; inside I kept asking whether I was truly content and what my work was really for.

Today I coach founders and senior leaders at pivotal moments—fundraises, step‑ups, restructures, exits—to turn external complexity into clarity, confidence, and calm.

Proof I bring to the room

  • Lived experience of five reinventions and a scale‑up from zero to ~£30m ARR
  • Hands‑on with boards, investors, and exec teams during hyper‑growth
  • A steady presence when decisions feel messy and urgent
  • Practical tools that turn insight into action

If you’re at a crossroads and want clearer priorities, stronger decisions, and a story your people can rally behind - let’s talk.
